The Catfish Place
For more than 30 years,
The Catfish Place has been a
successful family operated enterprise. At it's enception in
1973,.this restaurant opened its doors with only 20 seats and 10
stools. Since then, The Catfish Place is widely know by locals in
Kissimmee.
Today's menu has changed substantially from the original chicken and
sandwiches. Now, The Catfish Place specializes in - you guest it -
Catfish!
In addition to the famous Catfish menu, this restaurant also offer steaks,
seafood and chicken entrees. Some of the best days are when the company offers
"all you can eat" shrimp fest. Many patrons come to endulge in the lunch menu
which includes sandwiches, and lunch portions of the dinner entrees.

Ponderosa
If you like to eat steak, Ponderosa is the place for you. A bit of
history, in 1967 after Ponderosa purchased Bonanza, the two
companies became interchangeable depending on location. In fact
the Bonanza chain of resturants were established by the famous Eric Cartwright
who starred in the series Bonanza.
Today, Ponderosa is a well known name
brand equivalent to Checkers and is famous for its Buffet Menu.
